September 27^th – Pennypack Watershed Guided Bike Ride, Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Join us for a professionally guided, round-trip bike adventure along the Pennypack Creek, spanning approximately 10 scenic miles between the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust (PERT) and the Pennypack Environmental Center (PEC) in Philadelphia. This curated 3-4-hour experience includes ride leaders, support services, and optional bike rentals. Riders will explore forested gravel roads, historic rail trails and creekside landmarks—with opportunities to stop at points of interest to connect with nature and restoration projects.

Led by certified ride guides from YJR Outdoors and PERT staff, the program includes a pre-ride bike and helmet check, safety briefing, and interpretive stops along the way. Light snacks, water, and mechanical support are provided. A limited number of bikes and helmets are available to rent in advance for an additional fee. Moderate riding ability is recommended; expect a relaxed but active pace with multiple stops. $75 for PERT Members. $100 for Non-Members. $25 additional for bike and helmet rental. Min 5. Max 12.
