August 13th  – Habitat Hikes for Children, Sunday, 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM (3 Part Series)

Join us as we hike to and learn about three habitats found at the Pennypack Trust! June will feature a hike to the meadow, where we will search for the special plants and animals that call the meadow home. In July, we will journey to our pond/wetland where we will search for the critters who call the water home. August, leads us on an exploration of the forest, and the deep shade it provides our woodland friends. This series is open to children of any age but is targeted at ages 5-10. Please wear clothes suitable for outdoor exploration, and don’t forget bug spray! This is part of a three-part series. You can register for one but are encouraged to attend all three. Each class is $5 Per Child for Members. $10 Per Child for Non-members. Adult guardians are free, but please limit the number of adults to two.
