Learn more about the restoration efforts at Farmstead Park (2668 Byberry Road) and get your hands dirty! We will be working to remove invasive vines from trees and cleaning up trash. Dress in layers and wear sturdy boots. Groups and individuals are welcome. Registration required by February 17th. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
Thanks to funding from DCNR, work for this project will include restoration of wetland, meadow, and woodland areas, installation of riparian forest buffers, construction of pedestrian walkways, parking lot improvements, expanding ADA access, landscaping improvements, new signs, and other related site improvements.
