This basic-level American Red Cross course (two days) is designed for outdoor enthusiasts, scouts, and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away. Based on the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, this course aligns with OSHA’s Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs.

Participants must possess current adult CPR/AED certification (or the equivalent) and be at least 14 years of age on or before the last scheduled session of the course. Prerequisites will be verified by the instructor at the start of the course and are required for student participation in this course.

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a digital certificate for Wilderness and Remote First Aid valid for two years.
