Pennypack member Cindy Ahern, adjunct professor in Temple University’s Department of Landscape Architecture and Horticulture, will present her popular hummingbird program. This lively and informative presentation will be accompanied by beautiful images and plenty of recommendations for plants and other features certain to attract hummingbirds. Cindy will also share tales of the successes, drawbacks, and surprises she encountered while transforming her small suburban yard to a bird habitat, which is recognized as an Audubon Pennsylvania Bird Habitat and Certified Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation. This presentation will hopefully inspire you to get out and garden, so keep an eye out for a mail-in order form for our May native plant sale!
