Curious how Mindfulness and Nature are related? Feeling like you could use some grounding amidst uncertainty? Come explore these connections with us this Spring, as we reconnect with ourselves, our natural surroundings, and each other. The classes incorporate key tenets of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), such as guided sitting and walking meditation, and breathing techniques, which are integrated with nature-based sensory activities, and include time for reflection and discussion. The Mindfulness in Nature classes will be led by naturalist Erica Blatt, who has her PhD in Environmental Education and is certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Please bring a mat or chair to sit on (outside) for short meditations and discussion. This program is limited to 12 participants. No previous experience necessary. The cost is $75 for Members. $90 for Non-Members. Registration for all three sessions is preferred, but individual session sign-up is available for $30 a session.
