Learn from Nathaniel Whitmore, founder and president of the Delaware Highlands Mushroom Society, about the identification of edible, medicinal and toxic mushrooms.  Look for Hen of the Woods and Honey Mushrooms, and some of the many edible mushrooms of the season. Nathaniel will also discuss trees, since mushrooms grow in association with them; the ability to identify mushrooms is partially dependent on the ability to identify trees.  Other plants will also be discussed, particularly those that are indicative of certain mushroom habitats. pre-paid registration required by October 3.  Cost:  Members $10; non-members $20.
