July 9^th – “The Platypus Guardian” Watch Party and Conversation, Tuesday, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Join Pennypack Trust Executive Director, Chris Mendel, to watch and discuss a documentary about Platypus (a freshwater marsupial in Tasmania, Australia) and the urbanized stream corridors they inhabit. You’d never think a Tasmanian creek or a marsupial’s plight would have anything to do with the Pennypack, but the pain-points and solutions for protecting urban creeks are remarkably similar. Light snacks and refreshments are intended to fuel a lively conversation about how the “The Platypus Guardian”, relates to the Pennypack Watershed and how our communities can work together to make a positive change. Free, but limited to 30 people. Pre-registration required.
